Trezzini Palace Hotel is a five-star boutique hotel located on Vasilievsky Island in Saint Petersburg, housed in a majestic 18th-century building originally designed by the famous architect Domenico Trezzini. As a symbol of aristocratic elegance and Imperial Russian heritage, the hotel offers a curated luxury experience in a deeply historical setting. While the property itself was iconic, its digital presence felt outdated, slow, and disconnected from the refined offline experience. Trezzini Palace approached Tenlive with the goal of transforming its online identity to match its real-world prestige.

Objectives
The project aimed to redesign the website to be modern, mobile-optimized, and visually aligned with the hotel’s unique brand of opulence and historical richness. Additionally, the SEO structure had to be improved to attract international luxury travelers, especially those searching for premium accommodation in Saint Petersburg. The client also wanted a better user journey, particularly for direct bookings and multilingual access.

Our Approach
Tenlive developed a visual concept that blended classic luxury with digital modernity. The website design featured rich photography of suites, interiors, and architectural details, paired with a refined UI that mimicked the feeling of navigating through a grand, curated space. Dark gold accents, serif typography, and elegant transitions were chosen to subtly echo the aristocratic tone of the hotel without overwhelming the user experience.

On the technical side, the website was rebuilt for speed, responsiveness, and SEO-readiness. We structured content around high-intent search phrases like “luxury hotel in Saint Petersburg” and “five-star palace stay Russia,” focusing on both English and Russian language markets. Metadata, alt texts, internal linking, and booking call-to-actions were optimized to increase organic visibility and user engagement.
